29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs, with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest: On or about 24 January, 2014, on the above addressed job site, five employees were removing and installing tar on a roof of a building under construction without the use of fall protection, exposing the workers to a fall hazard of up to approximately 12 feet and 9 inches to the ground floor below. The Arcon Industries Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501 (b)(10) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 600578, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 10/09/2012, with respect to a workplace located at 3808 N. University Drive, Sunrise, FL, 33351.
