A monitoring program had not been developed and implemented on or about 8/28/13.

29 CFR 1910.95(g)(1): The employer did not establish and maintain an audiometric testing program as provided by 29 CFR 1910.95(g) by making audiometric testing available to all employees whose exposures equal or exceed an 8-hour time-weighted average of 85 decibels:  a) Truss Components of Atlanta, Inc., Conyers, GA - In the production area, upper deck, an employee operating the web saw was exposed to noise time-weighted average (TWA) of 98.2 dBA, exceeding the action level of 85 dBA. An audiometric testing program was not established. The exposure was obtained from a sample taken over 418 minutes. Zero exposure was assumed for the unsampled period of 62 minutes, on or about 8/28/13.  b) Truss Components of Atlanta, Inc., Conyers, GA - In the production area, upper deck, an employee catching wood at the web saw was exposed to noise time-weighted average (TWA) of 96.7 dBA, exceeding the action level of 85 dBA. An audiometric testing program was not established. The exposure was obtained from a sample taken over 415 minutes. Zero exposure was assumed for the unsampled period of 65 minutes, on or about 8/28/13.  c) Truss Components of Atlanta, Inc., Conyers, GA - In the production area, an employee catching wood at the web saw was exposed to noise time-weighted average (TWA) of 90.5 dBA, exceeding the action level of 85 dBA. An audiometric testing program was not established. The exposure was obtained from a sample taken over 407 minutes. Zero exposure was assumed for the unsampled period of 73 minutes, on or about 8/28/13.  d) Truss Components of Atlanta, Inc., Conyers, GA - In the production area, an employee catching wood from the chord saw was exposed to projected noise time-weighted average (PTWA) of 90.6 dBA, exceeding the action level of 85 dBA. An audiometric testing program was not established. The exposure was obtained from a sample taken over 346 minutes, on or about 8/28/13.  e) Truss Components of Atlanta, Inc., Conyers, GA - In the production area, an employee building floor trusses was exposed to noise time-weighted average (TWA) of 89.2 dBA, exceeding the action level of 85 dBA. An audiometric testing program was not established. The exposure was obtained from a sample taken over 423 minutes. Zero exposure was assumed for the unsampled period of 57 minutes, on or about 8/28/13.  f) Truss Components of Atlanta, Inc., Conyers, GA - In the production area, an employee operating the web saw was exposed to noise time-weighted average (TWA) of 87.6 dBA, exceeding the action level of 85 dBA. An audiometric testing program was not established. The exposure was obtained from a sample taken over 414 minutes. Zero exposure was assumed for the unsampled period of 66 minutes, on or about 8/28/13.  g) Truss Components of Atlanta, Inc., Conyers, GA - In the production area, an employee operating the red chord saw was exposed to noise time-weighted average (TWA) of 87 dBA, exceeding the action level of 85 dBA. An audiometric testing program was not established. The exposure was obtained from a sample taken over 372 minutes. Zero exposure was assumed for the unsampled period of 108 minutes, on or about 8/28/13.  h) Truss Components of Atlanta, Inc., Conyers, GA - In the production area, an employee building floor trusses was exposed to noise time-weighted average (TWA) of 87.7 dBA, exceeding the action level of 85 dBA. An audiometric testing program was not established. The exposure was obtained from a sample taken over 419 minutes. Zero exposure was assumed for the unsampled period of 61 minutes, on or about 8/28/13.  i) Truss Components of Atlanta, Inc., Conyers, GA - In the production area, an employee building roof trusses was exposed to a projected noise time-weighted average (PTWA) of 88.4 dBA, exceeding the action level of 85 dBA. An audiometric testing program was not established. The exposure was obtained from a sample taken over 211 minutes, on or about 8/28/13.
