29 CFR 1926.28(a): Appropriate personal protective equipment was not worn by employee(s) in all operations where there was exposure to hazardous conditions: a) Jobsite, 4600 Perry Highway, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania 15229: Observed on or about September 16, 2013, the employer did not assure appropriate personal protective equipment was worn by employees who were working with hot asphalt. An employee was exposed to a burn hazard while transferring hot asphalt into a lugger while not wearing a loose fitting, long sleeved cotton shirt and face shield.
