The affected employees wore respiratory protection during the cleaning of the coil slitter pit.    b) Manual Welding Station (331) - On or about October 16, 2013, Interlake Mecalux, Inc. did not ensure that an employee who wore a 3M 8577 P95 filtering facepiece respirator was provided the basic advisory information on respirators, as presented in Appendix D of 29 CFR 1910.134, in written or oral format when such use was not required by the employer.  The affected employee wore respiratory protection during manual MIG welding.    c) Manual Welding Stations (330 and 331) - On or about October 29, 2013, Interlake Mecalux, Inc. did not ensure that an employee who wore a Radnor N95 filtering facepiece respirator was provided the basic advisory information on respirators, as presented in Appendix D of 29 CFR 1910.134, in written or oral format when such use was not required by the employer.  The affected employee wore respiratory protection during manual MIG welding.
