29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(5)(i): Non-self-supporting ladders were not used at an angle such than the horizontal distance from the top support to the foot of the ladder way approximately one-quarter of the working length of the ladder (the distance along the ladder between the foot and the top support):  a) 6 Baldwin Ave, Ridley Park, PA - The employees were using a Werner 40 foot aluminum extension ladder which was greater than one-quarter of the working length of the ladder, thus exposing the employees to a fall/struck-by/caught in between hazards. The working length of the ladder was approximately 26 feet and the foot of the ladder was approximately 11 feet away from the structure. This violation was observed on or about December 16, 2013.    Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
