29 CFR 1910.272(g)(1)(ii): All mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment which presents a danger to employees inside grain storage structures shall be deenergized and shall be disconnected, locked-out and tagged, blocked-off, or otherwise prevented from operating by other equally effective means or methods.      a) On or about February 21, 2014 employer did not lockout and/or control the sweep auger during clean out of Bin # 4 in that all of the cleaners/employees and the supervisor were inside of the bin and no one was at the control panel to turn off the sweep auger exposing them to struck by hazards.    b) On or about February 21, 2014 employer did not lockout and/or control the sweep auger during clean out of Bin # 4 in that the shovel used during cleaning became stuck and/or lodged in the sweep auger exposing employees to struck by hazards and/or heat generated from a stuck auger.      The Sabina Farmers Exchange, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard  1910.272(g)(1)(ii) , which was contained in OSHA inspection number 315040154, citation number (1)  , item number (12) and was affirmed as a final order on 10/25/11, with respect to a workplace located at 292 N. Howard Street Sabina, OH 45169.
