OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to struck-by hazards: a. On or about February 24, 2014, employees were exposed to struck-by hazards because the installed wooden trusses had not been adequately braced to prevent accidental collapse of the structure.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): a. On or about February 10, 2014, an employee setting trusses was not protected from a 9 feet fall hazard from the top plate to the breezeway. b. On or about March 10, 2014, two employees were hammering in nails on Building 5 and were not protected from a 29 feet fall hazard from the top plate to the ground.
