29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(6)(ii): Except as provided in paragraphs (f)(7) and (f)(8) of this section, the employer did not ensure that each container of hazardous chemicals in the workplace was labeled, tagged or marked with product identifier and words, pictures, symbols, or combination thereof, which provided at least general information regarding the hazards of the chemicals, and which, in conjunction with the other information immediately available to employees under the hazard communication program, would provide employees with the specific information regarding the physical and health hazards of the hazardous chemicals: (a) A 4-gallon metal container of gasoline found in the paint shop was not provided with identity or hazard warning labels. (b) A gallon container of oil based paint found in a flammable storage cabinet located inside of a storage room in the boiler shop was not provided with a hazard warning label. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION IS REQUIRED

29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(3)(iv): The details of the hazard communication program developed by the employer, did not include an explanation of the labels received on shipped containers and the workplace labeling system used by their employer; the safety data sheet, including the order of information and how employee could obtain and use the appropriate hazard information: (a) As of April 3, 2014, the employer had not trained a boiler shop employee on the new chemical container label elements and the new format and types of information on each section of safety data sheets (SDSs). The employee was potentially exposed to such hazardous chemicals as caustic boiler treatment chemicals. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION IS REQUIRED
