29 CFR 1926.503(a)(2)(iii): The employer did not assure that each employee had been trained, as necessary, by a competent person qualified in the use and operation of guardrail systems, personal fall arrest systems, safety net systems, warning line systems, safety monitoring systems, controlled access zones, and other protection to be used: a) Residential jobsite: On April 10, 2014 and at times prior thereto employees did not recognize or acknowledge the hazards of performing roofing activities without being attached to a fall protection system, and not wearing fall protection properly. Appropriate actions were not taken to minimize these hazards. Note) Abatement certification IS required for this item.
