On or about July 3, 2014 At the above addressed jobsite, employees performing roofing work on a 5:12 pitch roof are exposed to falls of approximately nine (9) feet and ten (10) inches from an unprotected roof edge. To abate this violation, the employer must ensure that all employees working at elevations of 6 feet or greater are protected from falls by a fall protection system. Pursuant to 29 CFR 1903.19, the employer must submit documents describing the steps it is taking to ensure compliance; including and explanation of how these steps protect its employees from fall hazards.
