29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): "Residential construction." Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501(b): On or about 07/17/2014 during roofing activities, employee(s) installing asphalt shingles on a nursing home located at 19859 Alexander Road in Walton Hills, OH without fall protection were exposed to a fall hazard from a height of approximately 17.5 - 18 feet. LG Home Improvement, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926. 501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 915927, citation number 01, item number 01 and was affirmed as a final order on August 13, 2013, with respect to a workplace located at 2797 Wilks Lane, Westlake, OH 44145.
