29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): On or about September 21, 2017, employees were exposed to falls of approximately 17 feet 8 inches and approximately 9 feet 1 inch during the removal and installation of roofing material on various levels of a roof with a pitch of approximately 4:12 without the use of a guardrail system, fall protection system, and/or combination of warning line system and safety monitor system.
