29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs, with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels, are not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems. a) On or about August 28, 2014, at the address of 4730 W. Bancroft St. Toledo, OH: The employer did not ensure employees were protected from falls while performing roofing work on a commercial structure. Employees were exposed to a 12 foot fall to the ground below.
