Various facilities within organization; on or about 20 October 2014 and times prior thereto; the employer did not provide supervisor safety training for assigned supervisors to enable supervisors to recognize and eliminate, or reduce, occupational safety and health hazards in their working units. This condition exposed employees to inadequate instruction, orientation and/or training.

29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(3)(iv): The details of the hazard communication program developed by the employer, did not include an explanation of the labels received on shipped containers and the workplace labeling system used by their employer; the safety data sheet, including the order of information and how employee could obtain and use the appropriate hazard information. Various facilities within organization; on or about 20 October 2014 and times prior thereto; employees were not trained on the new Hazard Communications Standard (HCS 2012) provisions implemented on 1 December 2013.This training includes revised labeling elements and the new format for Safety Data Sheets. This condition exposed employees to inadequate training and chemical hazards.
