29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were other provisions of paragraph (b) of this section used to provide an alternative fall protection measure: a) On or about September 23, 2014, Needham Roofing, Inc., as a controlling employer, did not ensure that A-1 Rooftop Construction LLC (subcontractor) and Roberto Fernandez dba Fernandez Roofing (subcontractor) protected their employees from falls greater than 6 feet while performing roofing work without adequate fall protection measures in place. Needham Roofing, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13) or its equivalent which was contained in OSHA inspection 316094051, Citation 1, Item 1, issued February 14, 2012, with respect to a workplace located at 2682 Myrtle Springs Ave., Dallas, TX 75220. This citation became final on February 29, 2012.
