29 CFR 1910.305(g)(2)(iii): Flexible cords and cables were not connected to devices and fittings so that strain relief is provided that will prevent pull from being directly transmitted to joints or terminal screws. (a) Building 378, F/A-18 Hornet Work Area: On or about January 15, 2015 and times prior thereto, a black flexible rubber outer coating was not connected to male plug devices and fittings so the strain relief was provided. The outer coating has been pulled loose from the male plug which resulted in the possible strain to the end connections. Employees were exposed to possible electrical shock and burn.
