29 CFR 1910.178(l)(2): The employer did not ensure that each operator had successfully completed the training required by paragraph (l), except as permitted by paragraph (l)(5), prior to permitting an employee to operate a power industrial truck: At the time of the inspection, temporary employees that were allowed to operate powered industrial trucks had not been trained as required by paragraph and certified prior to operation of forklifts. Abatement certification and abatement documentation is required for this violation. The documentation should include written verification of abatement, applicable measurements or monitoring results, and photographs or videos which you believe will be helpful. The abatement certification sheet is enclosed with the citations.
