29 CFR 1910.94(a)(3)(i)(a): All air inlets and access openings were not baffled or so arranged that by the combination of inward air flow and baffling the escape of abrasive or dust particles into an adjacent work area will be minimized and visible spurts of dust will not be observed:    The shot blaster located on the West side of the IBBI inspection station had leaks.  The shot and dust was escaping and settling on to the floor.

29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(6)(i): Except as provided in 29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(7) and 29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(8), the employer did not ensure that each container of hazardous chemicals in the workplace was labeled, tagged or marked with the information required by 29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(1)(i) through 29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(1)(v):    a)  In the Sulfur Print room a wash bottle containing 5% nitric acid was unlabeled.    b)  On the North side of the transfer line, caster run-out area  a bottle was only labeled, mill machine oil only, contained Castrol Lube-con series 1M 200 Lubricant.    c)  At the South end of bag house number 4 a conveyor was feeding dust into a dumpster labeled only, Hazardous   Waste 1501 KO61.    d) At the North end of bag house number 5 a conveyor was feeding dust into a Supersack labeled only KO61.    e) At the Billet Mill cooling pit on the South side adjacent to the pit was a drum labeled only, Oil 110-046 TID-8098452.    f) In the HRM Rolling Mill in the Northeast corner of the building there was a parts washer tank with an illegible label.    g) In the Large Machine shop, there were 325 gallon totes containing used  coolants labeled only, 014089CN0104.

29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use:    a)  In the casting room run out, sulfur print room employees use nitric acid the eyewash station is not working because it was turned off with a separate valve.    b)  In the quality control, sampling analysis laboratory no eyewash station is provided.  Employees handle nitric acid, hydrochloric acid and hydrofluoric acid in this room.    The Timken Company was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 462358, citation number 1, item number 3and was affirmed as a final order on 7/1/2013, with respect to a workplace located at 2401 Gambrinus Ave. SW, Canton, Ohio.
