29 CFR 1926.21(b)(2): The employer did instruct each employee in the recognition and avoidance of unsafe conditions and the regulations applicable to his work environment to control or eliminate any hazards or other exposure to illness or injury. 150 Hicks Rd, Amherst MA. On or about May 22, 2015 employees were permitted to work beneath a foundation which had been undercut in preparation for underpinning and were not instructed in the means and methods necessary to prevent large granite stones in the foundation from shifting or falling exposing employees to struck by or crushing hazards.
