29 CFR 1926.28(a): The employer did not require the wearing of appropriate personal protective equipment in all operations where there is an exposure to hazardous conditions. On or about July 21, 2015 and at times prior thereto, employees were not provided with personal protective equipment such as: safety glasses, respiratory protection, face shields, aprons to protect employees from hot liquefied asphalt and fumes. This condition exposed employees to health hazards.
