29 CFR 1910.147(c)(6)(i): The employer did not conduct a periodic inspection of the energy control procedure at least annually to ensure that the procedure and the requirement of this standard were being followed: a) Production/Maintenance - On June 11, 2015, Interlake Mecalux, Inc. did not conduct periodic inspections of the energy control procedures at least annually to ensure that procedures and requirements of the standard were being followed. In accordance with 29CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET), and in addition, documentation that abatement is complete must be included with your certification. This documentation may include, but is not limited to, evidence of the purchase or repair of the equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement or other written records. INTERLAKE MECALUX, INC. WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OSHA SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD OR ITS EQUIVALENT STANDARD 29 CFR 1910.147(c)(6)(i), WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 943088, CITATION NUMBER 1, ITEM NUMBER 2 AND WAS AFFIRMED AS A FINAL ORDER ON APRIL 22, 2014, WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT 1600 NORTH 25TH AVENUE, MELROSE PARK, ILLINOIS 60161.
