29 CFR 1910.242(b): Compressed air used for cleaning purposes was not reduced to less than 30 p.s.i. Outside Maintenance shop: On or about 25 June 2015 and times prior thereto, the air nozzle connected to the air compressor did not have 30 P.S.I reducing device. Shop air was set at approximately 80 P.S.I. This exposed employees to air embolism/laceration hazards if they contacted the discharge to their skin.
