29 CFR 1960.8(a): 29 CFR 1960.8(a): The Agency head did not furnish employment and a place of employment to each employee that were free from recognized hazards that caused or were likely to cause death or serious physical harm: a) 141 East Fisher Ave: On or about 06/24/2015, an employee cutting grass was exposed to hazards of tip-over and falling while operating a zero turn radius riding lawn mower on a hill with a slope greater than 17 degrees. b) 141 East Fisher Ave: On or about 06/24/2015, at the workplace, the employer did not ensure that Roll-Over Protective Structure (ROPS) and a seatbelt were installed on the Gravely Z 60" zero turn lawnmower model #992047 in accordance with manufacturer's instructions, to prevent injury and/or death in the event of a roll over.
