29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2): Frequent and regular inspections of the job site, materials, and equipment to be conducted by a competent person designated by the employer was not provided by the employer who was responsible to initiate and maintain an accident prevention program:    a)  Mary Lane, Springside at Robbinsville, Robbinsville, NJ: On or about April 2, 2015, Wood Home Construction Inc., the controlling employer for this jobsite had not initiated a program for a competent person to conduct frequent and regular inspections of the jobsite, to identify hazards and/or stop the work in the event workers were placed in a hazardous condition.  As such, sub-contractor employees were conducting framing activities without proper use of fall protection.  Additionally, ladders used to access the structure were not properly set up, framers without hard hats working under hoisted trusses were exposed to overhead struck-by hazards and workers using nail guns without safety glasses were exposed to potential eye injury.             NOTE: THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
