29 CFR 1910.334(a)(2)(i): Portable cord and plug connected equipment and flexible cord sets (extension cords) were not visually inspected before use on any shift for external defects (such as loose parts, deformed and missing pins, or damage to outer jacket or insulation) and for evidence of possible internal damage (such as pinched or crushed outer jacket).  1) At the BLM, Rock House Visitor Information Center, the flexible cord of the re-locatable power tap used to plug-in TV and VCR had torn insulation.

29 CFR 1910.37(b)(2): Each exit was not clearly visible and marked by a sign reading "Exit":  (a) At the BLM Rock House Visitor Information Center, exit doors were not marked "EXIT".  The Bureau of Land Management was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.37(b)(2) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 315607481, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 9/16/2011, with respect to a workplace located at 1340 Financial Blvd., Reno, NV 89520.  The Bureau of Land Management was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.37(b)(2) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 315495255, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 3/30/2011, with respect to a workplace located at 351 Pacu Lane, Bishop, CA. 93541.  The Bureau of Land Management was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.37(b)(2) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 315492413, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 3/30/2011, with respect to a workplace located at 300 South Richmond Road, Ridgecrest, CA. 93555.
