29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3): Exit route(s) were not kept free and unobstructed:    a) Overstock room leading into stock room: Accumulation of material in boxes and on carts and shelves limited and delayed egress out of the overstock room into stock room; on or about 9/4/15.     b) Fixtures room leading into stock room: Accumulation of material in boxes limited and delayed egress out of the fixtures room into the stock room; on or about 9/4/15.    c) In front of exit next to employee office space: Temporary storage of shopping carts limited and delayed egress to exit in the area; on or about 9/4/15.    Note:  In addition to abatement certification the employer is required to submit abatement documentation for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19.

29 CFR 1910.157(g)(1): An educational program was not provided for all employees to familiarize them with the general principles of fire extinguisher use and the hazards involved with incipient stage fire fighting:    a) Worksite: Employees had not been trained to use fire extinguishers although the store safety manual directs employees to use a fire extinguisher on small fires; on or about 9/4/15.     Note:  The employer is required to submit abatement certification for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19.
