29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): "Steep roofs." Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a) On or about October 8/9, 2015 - at the above addressed jobsite - employees were working on a steep roof with a 12:12 pitch performing tear off activities without the use of personal fall protection. The employees were thereby exposed to fall hazards of approximately nine (9) feet. The D-Wing, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 986983, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on September 05, 2014, with respect to a workplace located at 1119 Courtland Place, Aurora, IL. 60502. The D-Wing, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 986660, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on September 24, 2014, with respect to a workplace located at 2487 Legacy Drive, Aurora, IL. 60502.
