29 CFR 1910.1000(e): Feasible administrative or engineering controls were not determined and implemented to achieve compliance with the limits prescribed in 29 CFR 1910.1000(a) through (d): (a) On or about October 20, 2015 and at times prior to that date, for an employee potentially overexposed to welding fumes where the 8hr TWA exposure for Total Dust-PNORd was determined to be 54 mg/m3 correlating to 3.623 times the PEL of 15 mg/m3 while performing welding activities, at station number one in the door frame installation department based on sampling that was conducted at 1820 North Plum Avenue, Brandon, South Dakota. (b) On or about October 20, 2015 and at times prior to that date, for an employee potentially overexposed to welding fumes where the 8hr TWA exposure for Total Dust-PNORd was determined to be 24 mg/m3 correlating to 1.588 times the PEL of 15 mg/m3 while performing welding activities in the door frame installation department on the coaming welding robot, otherwise known as the turtle in the door frame installation department based on sampling that was conducted at 1820 North Plum Avenue, Brandon, South Dakota. (c) On or about October 20, 2015 and at times prior to that date, for an employee potentially overexposed to welding fumes where the 8hr TWA exposure for Iron Oxide Fume was determined to be 18.1990 mg/m3 correlating to 1.82 times the PEL of 15 mg/m3 while performing welding activities at station number one in the door frame installation department based on sampling that was conducted at 1820 North Plum Avenue, Brandon, South Dakota. (d) On or about October 20, 2015 and at times prior to that date, for an employee potentially overexposed to welding fumes where the 8hr TWA exposure for Manganese Fume (as Mn) was determined to be 6.1038 mg/m3 correlating to 1.22 times the PEL of 15 mg/m3 while performing welding activities at station number one in the door frame installation based on sampling that was conducted at 1820 North Plum Avenue, Brandon, South Dakota.
