29 CFR 1926.502(h)(1)(iii): The safety monitor was not on the same walking/working surface and within visual sighting distance of the employee being monitored. a) On or about January 19, 2016 at the above addressed jobsite, employees working on a low sloped roof were exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 9' 7" due to the lack of fall protection system and the employees not within visual distance sighting of the Safety Monitor. Employees were observed working on the roof at the front and the rear side of the building with the safety monitor at the ground level without a clear view of all the employees.
