29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a) Backus Center for Specialty Care Job Site - On or about 4-6-16 - Employee was observed handing material to employees in an aerial lift at the edge of the building with no fall protection system in use. Employee was exposed to a 20 fall hazard.

Employees were exposed to fall hazard of less than 20 feet above the ground.

Employees were wearing six foot rip-stitch lanyards and harnesses working at elevations of 15 to 18 feet above the ground.
