29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501(b): a. Employees setting and bracing trusses at elevations of 6 feet or more above the ground are not being protected from fall hazards by a fall protection system. b. On or about April14, 2016, second floor, employees climbing on and off the ladder were being exposed to a 10 feet 5-inch fall hazard because there was no guardrail system. The employer fails to assure effective protection against falls as required by the standard, as demonstrated on April 14, 2016, when employees setting bracing and trusses on the roof at 7037 Azalea Grove Drive, Jacksonville, FL 32258, were exposed up to a 24 feet fall hazard above the ground in that they did not have a fall protection system installed.
