OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to struck-by hazards: On 4/15/2016, at the above addressed work site, employees were exposed to a struck-by hazard during the hoisting operation of structural members, which the hoisting cables were not grouped together prior to them being cleared from any potential obstruction that would compromise the stability of the structural members. PLEASE NOTE: DOCUMENTATION AND CERTIFICATION OF ABATEMENT IS REQUIRED FOR THIS VIOLATION.
