29 CFR 1926.652(a)(1): Each employee in an excavation was not protected from cave-ins by an adequate protective system designed in accordance with 29 CFR 1926.652(c): a) Canton, PA: Employees in a 16 foot deep trench equipped only with an eight-foot trench box were not adequately protected from a cave-in hazard, on or about June 16, 2016. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION AND DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED Tru-Line Contractors, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Administration standard or its equivalent standard, 29 CFR 1926.652(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 949117, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 1/14/2014, with respect to a workplace located at Fox Hollow Road, State College, PA.
