29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): (a)    On or about, June 22, 2016 at 1887 Duluth Hwy, Lawrenceville, Ga. An employee was exposed to a fall hazard of 10 feet six inches to the lower level. The rope he was attached to was too long for the fall distance, the employee would strike the lower level if he fell.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee who might be exposed to fall hazards:  On or about June 22, 2016, where an employee was using a lanyard that was too long for the fall distance of approximately 10-feet, 6-inches.  The employee had not been trained on how to set up his fall protection equipment based on the height from which he was working.
