Employees performing roofing work on a roof six feet or more above the ground are not protected from fall hazards by a fall protection system.   The employer fails to assure effective protection against falls as required by the standard, as demonstrated on August 8, 2016, when employees were tearing off roofing materials and installing shingles on the 7:12 pitch roof of a two-story residence at 11315 Landing Estates Drive, Jacksonville, Florida 32257 without the use of complete fall protection systems and were exposed to fall hazards of 9-foot 11-inch and 14-foot.  Great White Construction, Inc. was previously cited for a willful violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 997948, citation number 01, item number 001 and was affirmed as a final order on April 14, 2015, with respect to a workplace located at 228 Melissa Ray Drive, Jacksonville, FL.  Great White Construction, Inc. was previously cited for a willful violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 996902, citation number 01, item number 001 and was affirmed as a final order on April 15, 2015, with respect to a workplace located at 4324 Queensway Drive, Jacksonville, FL.
