29 CFR 1926.760(a)(1): Each employee engaged in a steel erection activity who is on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge more than 15 feet (4.6 m) above a lower level was not protected from fall hazards by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, positioning device systems, or fall restraint systems. On or about August 26, 2016, on the roof of the building, where two employees were exposed to fall hazards while performing steel erection activities on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge more than 15 feet above a lower level with no fall protection system in place. Ellison Steel, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard 29 CFR 1926.760(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1089807, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 2/22/16, with respect to a workplace located at 1420 N Loop 336 W #106, Conroe, Texas.
