29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Eye and face protective equipment were not used when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury from physical, chemical, or radiation agents. On or about August 31, 2016, an employee operating a pneumatic nail gun was not protected by safety glasses, exposing the employee to an eye injury. Abatement certification is required of this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(c).
