29 CFR 1910.23(c)(1): Open-sided floors and/or platforms four feet or more above adjacent floor or ground level were not guarded with standard railings (or equivalent) and toeboards: (a) On or about 07/07/2016 - at Building 513, employees working on the Automated Storage and Retrieval System-Plus (ASRS-PLUS) equipment to service or maintain the Storage/Retrieval Machines (SRMs) and sensors or unjam a pallet were not protected from falling up to 86-feet 11-inches. Notice 1, Item 2, 29 CFR 1910.23(c)(1) as required by 29 CFR 1960.8(b): The employer failed to guard open-sided floors and/or platforms four feet or more above adjacent floor or ground level. The employer was cited for a violation of the same standard and/or same hazard on 12/03/2014, Inspection #985793, date 12/31/2015 of final order/settlement, and means of abatement.
