29 CFR 1910.134(h)(1): Respirators were not cleaned and disinfected using the procedures in Appendix B-2 of 29 CFR 1910.134 or equivalent procedures recommended by the respirator manufacturer: (a) On or about 08/14/19 - Building 130, the employer did not ensure that respirators were cleaned and disinfected between uses. The presence of contaminants such as, but not limited to, zinc oxide, manganese, lead, cobalt, cadmium, nickel, copper, iron oxide, and chromium were detected by wipe samples collected on August 14, 2019. The U.S. Army Material Command was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1198139, notice number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 07/05/17, with respect to a workplace located at 7 Frankford Avenue, Anniston AL 36201.
