Westfield Electroplating Company, 68 N. Elm Street. Westfield, MA 01085:  On or about 9/15/2016, an employee received a chemical burn on an elbow while pickling/etching a stainless steel part in the Nitric and Hydrofluoric (HF) mixed-acid solution tank. The employer did not require employees to wear full arm length protective gloves while performing Nitric and HF etching involving a potential for skin contact with corrosive acids.
