29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(6)(ii): Except as provided in 29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(7) and 29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(8), the employer did not ensure that each container of hazardous chemicals in the workplace was labeled, tagged or marked with the product identifier and words, pictures, symbols, or combination thereof, which provide at least general information regarding the hazards of the chemicals and which, in conjunction with the other information immediately available to employees under the hazard communication program, would provide employees with the specific information regarding the physical and health hazards of the hazardous chemical:  (a) On 2/01/17, at the shop on 212 Redwood Lane in Manheim, PA, a small container of Ardex High Def #2 used in the shop was not labeled with the identity or hazard warning of the chemical.  (b) On 2/01/17, at the shop on 212 Redwood Lane in Manheim, PA, a container of Snappy used in the shop was not labeled with the hazard warning.  The Superior Public Auto Auction, LLC was previously cited for a violation of an equivalent Occupational Safety and Health Standard 1910.1200(f)(5), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1132206, citation number 1, item number 1-b and was affirmed as a final order on August 23, 2016, with respect to a workplace located at 212 Redwood Lane, Manheim, PA 17545.   Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date, and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.

29 CFR 1910.1200(g)(8):   The employer did not maintain in the workplace copies of the required safety data sheets for each hazardous chemical, and did not ensure that they were readily accessible during each work  shift to employees when they were in their work area(s)  (a) On 2/01/17, at the shop on 212 Redwood Lane in Manheim, PA, the employer did not maintain and ensure that safety data sheets were readily accessible to employees working with, and exposed to hazardous chemicals used in polishing and cleaning automobiles, including Ardex High Def #2, Ardex Buster 6235 Cleaner, Impact Wheel Cleaner, Ardex 4212 Seal B or Ardex Stereo Glaze #2.  Superior Public Auto Auction, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard 1910.1200(g)(8), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1132206, citation number 1, item number 1-c and was affirmed as a final order on August 23, 2016, with respect to a workplace located at 212 Redwood Lane, Manheim, PA 17545.  Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. 29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area:  (a) On 02/01/17, at the shop on 212 Redwood Lane in Manheim, PA, the employer did not provide information as required by this paragraph on the contents of 1910.1200 to employees working with, and exposed to hazardous chemicals used in polishing and cleaning automobiles, including Ardex High Def #2, Ardex Buster 6235 Cleaner, Impact Wheel Cleaner, Ardex 4212 Seal B or Ardex Stereo Glaze #2.    (b) On 02/01/17 at the shop on 212 Redwood Lane in Manheim, PA, the employer did not provide training as required by this paragraph pertaining to the hazards of the chemicals that employees were working with, or how employees could protect themselves from those hazards.  Employees were exposed to hazardous chemicals used in polishing and cleaning automobiles, including Ardex High Def #2, Ardex Buster 6235 Cleaner, Impact Wheel Cleaner, Ardex 4212 Seal B or Ardex Stereo Glaze #2.    Superior Public Auto Auction, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard 1910.1200(h)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1132206, citation number 1, item number 1-d and was affirmed as a final order on August 23, 2016, with respect to a workplace located at 212 Redwood Lane, Manheim, PA 17545. 29 CFR 1910.134(c)(2)(i): Respirator users were not provided with the information contained in Appendix D to 29 CFR 1910.134 when the employer determined that any voluntary respirator use was permissible:  (a) On 02/01/17, at the shop on 212 Redwood Lane in Manheim, PA, the employer provided Dukal 1571 N95 filtering facepiece respirators for employees to use voluntarily without employees being provided with the information in Appendix D to 1910.134.  Superior Public Auto Auction, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard 1910.134(c)(2)(i), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1132206, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on August 23, 2016, with respect to a workplace located at 212 Redwood Lane, Manheim, PA 17545.
