29 CFR 1910.132(d)(1): The employer did not assess the workplace to determine if hazards are present, or are likely to be present, which necessitate the use of personal protective equipment (PPE): a) On 02/02/17, at the shop on 212 Redwood Lane in Manheim, PA, the employer did not certify that a hazard assessment had been performed for employees working with, and exposed to hazardous chemicals used in polishing and cleaning automobiles, and requiring the use of personal protective equipment such as goggles, skin protection or safety glasses. Superior Public Auto Auction, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard 1910.132(d)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1132521, citation number 1, item number 1-a and was affirmed as a final order on August 23, 2016, with respect to a workplace located at 212 Redwood Lane, Manheim, PA 17545.
