Condition observed on or about 03/09/17.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):   a- Building A, 145 Cliffwood Avenue, Aberdeen NJ: An employee, wearing a full body harness with no lanyard attached, was exposed to fall hazards in excess of 20 feet to the ground surface below when performing framing and other carpentry related work from a residential structure's pitched roof.  Condition observed on or about 03/09/17.  Go Works Construction Corporation was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1184661, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 12/29/16, with respect to a workplace located at  Block 47.02, Lot 30.16, 8 Curie Court, East Windsor NJ.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards:  a- 145 Cliffwood Avenue, Aberdeen NJ: An employee, wearing a full body harness with no lanyard attached, was exposed to fall hazards in excess of 20 feet to the ground surface below when performing framing and other carpentry related work from a residential structure's pitched roof.  This employee along, with the other worksite employees, had not received fall hazard recognition training or complete fall protection training, as required by the standard, from the company prior to or at the time of the worksite inspection. Condition noted on or about 03/09/17.  Go Works Construction Corporation was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1182906, citation number 1, item number 1b and was affirmed as a final order on 12/07/16, with respect to a workplace located at 1612 Graham Court, Pittsburgh PA.  NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
