29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use. F/V Prowler, OSI Dock; on or about 07 March 2017 and times prior thereto; two instances were noted where Bradley eyewash stations were not maintained in accordance to manufacturers requirements; quick drenching or flushing of the eyes was not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use. a. Processing area; Eyewash station was not sanitary. Eyewash station had fish waste in the wash basin. b. Engine room; Eyewash station was not sanitary. Eyewash station had salt and a dry-erase marker in the wash basin. This condition exposed employees to eye trauma hazards.
