29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(A): Flexible cords and/or cables were used as a substitute for the fixed wiring of a structure:   A.  On or about April 4, 2017, in the following locations, flexible cords were used in lieu of the fixed wiring of the building:  1.  Grinding Room:  An orange flexible cord fitted with a two outlet 110V receptacle box was used to energize a DeWalt off-hand grinder.  2.  Shop, at the Parts Cleaning Station:  An orange extension cord plugged into a 6-outlet relocatable power tap which was in turn plugged into a wall outlet energized a Makita off-hand grinder.  3.  Shop, at the work table in front of the Enerpac 200 ton press:  A yellow extension cord which was plugged into a wall outlet across the room behind the Piranha press brake was used to power a DeWalt off-hand grinder.  4.  Front of Shop:  A red extension cord, plugged into a wall outlet in the office area, was used to power the Frost Fighter indirect heater, which was used in the shop during the winter.
