The employees were not provided with training in accordance with Appendix D of the Standard.    Eagle Manufacturing Company, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard (29 CFR 1910.134(k)(6)), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1220540, citation number 1, item number 2c and was affirmed as a final order on May 24, 2017, with respect to a workplace located at 13 Homonick Road, Colchester, CT.

29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(C): Flexible cords and cables were run through doorways, windows, floors, or similar openings.    GRINDING ROOM:    On or about and at times prior to March 5, 2019, a flexible cord used to energize the off-hand grinders and pedestal fan in the grinding room was plugged into an outlet in the main shop.  The cord was run under an overhead door, strung over building structures, and extended across the floor to get to the work bench where grinding was done.       Eagle Manufacturing Company, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard (29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(A)), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1220540, citation number 1, item number 5c and was affirmed as a final order on May 24, 2017, with respect to a workplace located at 13 Homonick Road, Colchester, CT.
