29 CFR 1910.1200(g)(8): The employer did not maintain in the workplace copies of the required safety data sheets for each hazardous chemical, and did not ensure that they were readily accessible during each work shift to employees when they were in their work area(s): (a) Protecto Wrap Company, at 2255 S. Delaware St., Denver, CO 80223: On or before May 30, 2017, the employer did not ensure that safety data sheets were readily accessible during each work shift to employees when they are in their work areas manufacturing with asphalt or butyl rubber articles such that safety data sheets were primarily available to employees electronically via a flash drive and a computer in the breakroom. The employer also stated that if the employee cannot access the flash drive they may call ChemTel, Inc. for information. This condition exposed employees to a chemical hazard.

29 CFR 1910.1200(g)(2): The chemical manufacturer or importer preparing the safety data sheet did not ensure that the safety data sheets include at least the following section numbers and headings, and associated information under each heading, in the order listed (See Appendix D to � 1910.1200 Safety Data Sheets, for the specific content of each section of the safety data sheet): 1910.1200(g)(2)(i) through 1910.1200(g)(2)(xvi). (a)Protecto Wrap Company, at 2255 S. Delaware St., Denver, CO 80223: On or before May 30, 2017, the employer did not develop SDS with the data and sections required as a manufacturer of articles. When accessing the website of Protecto Wrap on August 2, 2017, 69 MSDS were available for download by purchasing entities. These MSDS were dated between July 10, 1999 and November 5, 2010. Information not included on the MSDS did not include complete hazard identification including pictograms, among other requirements. This condition potentially exposed purchasing downstream customers to be exposed to the hazards of the manufactured articles.
