29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): "Residential construction." Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system. On 7/25/2017, employees from J&H Exteriors LLC were working on the roof of a residential building located at 28360 Highway F, Wright City, MO. Six employees were engaged in roofing work approximately 13 feet above a lower level. Exposed employees were not utilizing guardrail systems, a safety net system, or a personal fall arrest system. The employees were observed on the roof of the building without fall protection, exposing themselves to a fall to the ground below. J&H Exteriors LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1065982, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 7/16/2015, with respect to a workplace located at 645 Castle Ridge Drive, Ballwin MO. J&H Exteriors LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1187736, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 2/14/2017, with respect to a workplace located at 5129 Dominion Drive, Arnold MO.
