29 CFR 1926.502(h)(1)(v): The safety monitor had other responsibilities which could take the monitor's attention from the monitoring function: (a) On or about 08/18/17, at the Aldi's store, under renovation and located on 4899 Lake Road North, in Brockport, New York, during a roofing project; the designated roof monitor was engaged work activities, taking attention away from monitoring other workers exposed to fall hazards. Employees were working 16 feet above ground level. NO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
