29 CFR 1926.451(g)(1)(vii): Each employee on a scaffold, not otherwise specified in paragraphs (g)(1)(i) through (g)(1)(vi) of this section, more than 10 feet (3.1 m) above lower level was not protected from falls by the use of personal fall arrest systems or guardrail systems meeting the requirements of paragraph (g)(4) of this section. a- Eastampton Place, Building 1000, Eastampton NJ: On or about 09/05/17, a company worker was observed walking/working from the fourth buck of a supported scaffold that was missing mid rails and contained unprotected end frame openings. As such this worker was exposed to fall hazards in excess of 22 feet to the ground surface below. b - Eastampton Place, Building 1000, Eastampton NJ: On or about 09/05/17, a company worker was observed walking/working at an unprotected edge of a supported scaffold's side bracket. As such, this worker was exposed to fall hazards in excess of 23 feet to the ground surface below.
